*SUMMARY*
Topics discussed:

-	Purchase negotiation update: RSA DSI (Brian Allison, Linda Laub)
-	New products to consider
	Entrust (Dawn Harris)
	Cylink (Dave Leonard)
-	Evaluation updates (evaluation team)
-	Language Requirement
-	Evaluation Team Coordinator

=================
1)	* Purchase negotiation update: RSA DSI (Brian Allison, Linda Laub) *
Brian and Linda will meet with RSA DSI Thursday 4/30 afternoon
2)	*NEW PRODUCTS TO CONSIDER*
- Entrust (Dawn Harris)
Entrust is to send out Evaluation request forms to the team members. Dawn
expects to receive pricing information Friday 5/1
- Cylink
Their pricing model is $2000 per application; $1 per license. They will send
white paper -- expected this week. They use DLL's and thus will work with any
language that can call DLLs. They support 16- and 32-bit. They do not have a
stand-alone application. Their product can only be embedded in custom
applications. This disqualifies them

3)	*EVALUATION UPDATES (Evaluation Team)*
a)RSA DSI
	not much to report

b)	Information Security Corporation/AT&T
There is not sufficient documentation. Tim will request the manual from the
vendor.

Next steps:
PHEAA will look at offerings for end-users. The team should review
requirements already generated and fill out with any other needed technical
requirements. This should be posted on the listserve.

4 *Language Requirement*
There was some discussion on whether we should exclude products that only
supported C/C++. There were some in the group that recommended this, as there
are many in CommonLine (as well as in this group) that do not have C/C++
expertise. After some discussion, Scott directed the group to accept such
products for review, although they would be less desirable than other products
with the same features that supported multiple languages. Scott expressed the
opinion there are too few alternatives at this point to rule products out for
that reason.

5 *Evaluation Team Coordinator*
Scott called for a volunteer to coordinate the evaluation activities. As of
yet no one has come forward. This role would include
a)	ensuring products are evaluated with respect to all defined requirements.
b)	Coordinating activities among evaluation team members.
c)	Compiling an evaluation matrix after evaluations are complete
